Our Harmonica Lesson
Since the beginning of the year, we have been learning how to play the harmonica during our music lesson. We were so excited when we first got our harmonica in the music room. We love our weekly music lesson with our music instructor, Miss Tan. We get to go to the air-conditioned music room for our hourly lesson.
We also learn how to read the music notes from the music book and it is certainly not an easy feat! But Miss Tan is very patient and goes through each note with us. Not only must we remember how to read the note, we must also learn to read other musical symbols such as 4 count notes, 2 count notes and rest.
Miss Goh came into the class last week and took some of our pictures. Take a look at us in action! :)

Fingers Hard at Work!
This morning, I announced to the little ones that they would be going to their favourite place and Stallonzo immediately shouted, “MacDonald’s!” Oh well, I do wish that I can bring the little ones to MacDonald’s to have breakfast one day but not today. I revealed that we were going to the computer lab and they erupted with joy.
At 12.30pm, we packed our bags and made our way to the Computer Lab where Miss Koh and Miss Leong were waiting for us. Miss Koh revised the Touch Typing lessons with us and reminded us to place our fingers correctly on the Home Row Keys.
Without any further delay, we immediately went to the terminals and started to practice our typing skills. There were a total of 15 lessons and the first lesson was a breeze for many of us. However, the lessons started to become more challenging and some of us started to feel tired after Lesson 3. But we LOVE our computer lessons and hope that we can go there every week! Here are some pictures of us in action! :)

Welcome to 2 Topaz!
Dear all,
Happy New Year!
4th January 2010 is the first day of school and I would like to welcome all my little ones back to DQPS! It was definitely a very busy day for all of us and the school was buzzing with excitement.
The little ones were informed of their new classes for 2010 and got to meet their new friends and teachers in class. *Tah-Dah!* I am the form teacher of 2 Topaz and it is indeed my great pleasure to be taking the class this year. Hope that all of us will have a great time learning and growing in 2 Topaz! :)
